BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
Have Fun! - The Mid-Eastern/USA Dance members share a love of dancing. our dance events offer great locations, great music, complimentary lessons, showcases, and the chance to meet wonderful people.
Be Informed - Mid-Eastern Chapter members receive the bi-monthly USA Dance American Dancer magazine, and receive the on-line newsletter via email.
You’ll know what is going on in the dance community, both locally and nationally.
Support Ballroom Dancing - As a Mid-Eastern Chapter/USA Dance member, you help support ballroom dancing nationally, including the efforts to promote Dancesport as an Olympic event.
The Mid-Eastern Chapter exists for the benefit and enjoyment of ballroom dancers of all ages and skill levels. You can become a member in one of several categories, including:

RECREATIONAL DANCERS
Ballroom Dancer: A keen dancer and supporter of DanceSport who does not compete but strives to dance at proficiency levels similar to those who do compete. This may include retired DanceSport Athletes.
Annual Fee: $35.00
Social Dancer: An amateur dancer who does not compete but who enjoys dancing and appreciates the physical, mental, and social benefits of engaging in a regular program of dancing.
Annual Fee: $25.00
Social Youth Dancer: A social dancer under the age of 19.  Often a family member or friend of adult dancer.  (Social Youth members do not receive American Dancer magazine.)
Annual Fee: $10.00
Social Dance Teacher: An individual who is engaged in the teaching of social dance.
Annual Fee: $50.00

USA DANCE* ATHLETES - Amateur dancers who participate in DanceSport competitions.
DanceSport Athlete: A competitive dancer who is age 19 or above.
Annual Fee: $60.00
Student DanceSport Athlete: A competitive dancer who is age of 19 or above but below age 35 and is enrolled in school full time.
Annual Fee: $20.00
Minor DanceSport Athlete: A competitive dancer who is below the age of 19.
Annual Fee: $15.00
Professional Athlete: A competitive dancer who declares him or herself as a professional, or dances in a professional event or is registered as a Professional Member with a member organization of the WDC or IPDSC..
Annual Fee: $65.00

OTHER MEMBERSHIPS
DanceSport Professional: An individual who serves in an official capacity in the field of DanceSport and/or ballroom dance.
Annual Fee: $70.00
Dance Industry Retail Organization: An organization who offers products and/or services to dancers. Retail organizations may be listed on USA Dance web site and in American Dancer magazine..
Annual Fee: $100.00
